Peter Facinelli Talks Breaking Dawn Wedding to EW

Entertainment Weekly a décroché un interview de Peter Facinelli où celui-ci nous parle de la tant attendue scène de mariage !

EW: Tu peux nous en dire plus sur Breaking Dawn ? Il paraît que la scène du mariage est grandiose...
Peter: La scène du mariage est vraiment superbe. La façon dont le set était décoré et éclairé... Ça se passe dans le jardin des Cullen, et ils ont vraiment utilisé l'espace au mieux. Pour nous acteurs, c'était compliqué car il n'a pas arrêté de pleuvoir, mais ça ne se verra pas à l'écran. Pour nous, c'était pluvieux et boueux mais pour vous, ce sera superbe. Pour la scène de baseball il avait également plu tout le temps, mais vous seriez incapable de le dire.

EW: Comment avez-vous fait pour rester secs ?
Peter: C'était très dur. Je me rappelle le premier jour de tournage du premier film, on était en plein tournage, on a demandé à Catherine comment régler la situation. Ils ont alors donné des casquettes à tous ceux qui avaient les cheveux mouillés. C'est la magie du cinéma, ça ne se voit pas à l'écran. Il faudrait vraiment une averse pour qu'on le remarque.

EW: Fais nous languir en nous disant à quoi ressemble le mariage...
Peter: Tout paraît magique. C'était vraiment récompense de voir ces deux personnages se marier. On l'attendait, ce mariage. Je n'ai pas été déçu lors du tournage, donc je pense que ce sera magique.

EW: Anything you can tease to us about it? I hear the wedding scene is grand.
Peter: The wedding scene, first of all, was really beautiful. The way the set was decorated, the way they lit it. It’s in the backyard of the Cullen house, and they utilized the space really well. For us as actors, it was hard because it was raining the whole time we shot, but you’ll never see it on film. For us, it was raining and muddy, but on film, it will look beautiful. In the baseball sequence [from the first movie], it rained the whole time, but you can’t tell.

EW: How did you magically stay dry?
Peter: It’s very difficult. I remember the first day [on the first film], we were in the midst of shooting, and they said [to the director Catherine Hardwicke], ‘”What do you want to do Catherine?” So they started passing out baseball hats to anyone whose hair looked too wet. It was movie magic; you never see it. It has to rain really hard for it to read on film.

EW: Give me a visual tease of the wedding, for the wedding geeks, like yours truly.
Peter: It looks very magical. It was a real treat to be able to watch the two of them get married. It was a longtime coming, this wedding. It didn’t disappoint me when we shot it, so I think it will be magical.”
