David Slade reveals 'Eclipse' deleted scenes

"Je pense qu'on a gardé le meilleur. Certaines scènes très chouettes ralentissaient un peu le rythme du film et nous avons dû les enlever au montage."

"Il y a une super scène avec Bella et Angela dans la chambre de cette dernière où elles ont simplement une conversation de filles. Cette scène était charmante mais n'avait pas sa place dans le film, ça ne fonctionnait pas. On l'a supprimée pour obtenir un meilleur rythme. Elle sera certainement sur le DVD."

"Il y a aussi une scène adorable entre Charlie et Bella après la cérémonie de remise de diplômes où il lui exprome sa fierté qu'elle ait réussi. Encore une fois, c'est une scène très touchante mais elle n'apportait rien de neuf par rapport à la fin de la scène de la cérémonie."

Eclipse director David Slade has given a sneak peak at deleted scenes that could end up on the DVD release. Speaking to Digital Spy, the filmmaker outlined two sequences that were filmed but didn't make the movie's final cut.

"There's quite a bit of stuff that ended up not making the cut but I think film is a living organism. It kind of grows and tells you it's own pace," he explained.

"I think we ended up with what was the best of everything. Certain things that were really good just slowed the pace down and we pulled them out."

"There's a great scene with Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Angela (Christian Serratos) in her bedroom just talking girl stuff," he continued. "It was lovely but it just didn't fit, it just didn't really work. We took it out and the film flowed better. I know that will be on the DVD."

He added there is also a "lovely scene" between Bella and her father Charlie (Billy Burke) after the graduation when he expresses his pride at her achievements.

"Again, it's a really heartwarming scene but I felt the clap [at the ceremony] did the same thing," he said."There's a bunch of stuff like that, there will be quite a few DVD extras I hope."
